Exporters of awards normally pay bribes to key people to allow awards through the customs...

Esteban,

I understand your happiness... It is always a pleasure to find these "business/network" costs included in the final price you pay for your awards !!!

Christophe,
It was an irony. But I´m not sure if I´d pay those cashes... if the award(s) worth it...

Esteban,

Ironic I am also . But the truth is that you already pay these, as part of the price of the awards...

Cheers.

Upon arriving to Latvia/Riga last month, I decided to ask the customs at the airport if there had been any changes in the laws (better ask before than after they catch you for illegal export of "historical cultural artifacts" (30 years of Victory-medal)) ... the female customs officer didn't say a word, she just laughed.

I think the baltic states don't give a sh*t what happens to the Soviet era leftovers. Russia and Ukraine are different.

I don't think any of the former Soviet Republic really care.

Russian Federation (mostly) and Ukraine are different though.

exporting

Yeah, I had a number of items taken from me by customs at the Odessa airport.

Some German items too.

I got real nervous and had to sign a document. I am sure that the six agents that surrounded me must have divided them up amoungst themselves.
