"Halhin Gol Battle 70 Years" Medal.

Rare Medal: Medal of 70th anniversary of Khalkhin Gol battle instituted by a decree of the President of Mongolia in 2009. The medal was awarded in 2009 to few living veterans of the battle, Mongolian and Russian.

Lovely to see this, many thanks. Do you have any idea of how many recipients there were? Can't be many surviving.

Agree, great they're still sticking with this tradition. And also nice to see that the design is not a complete radical departure from the past but has various elements coming back.

I was told that less than 400.
