Participating in battle on the Leningrad Front Comrade Masharov always provides the troops of the 42nd Army with uninterrupted communication. Winter 194? Comrade Masharov, supplied communication to the Naval Border Detachment on the Finnish Gulf, during any circumstances was able to do his work so, there were no cases of disruption to the workings of the lines of communications.

Performing the task of providing communications from the Command Point of the 128th Rifle Division 22-07-1944 Lieutenant Masharov with the platoon supplied uninterrupted communication from the Command Point of the 128th Rifle Division to the unit of Kepov, Village of Stanki together with advancing rifle units, with the personal staff of the platoon and communications equipment, transported by improvised means and swam across the River Velikaja, laid cable line communications across the River Velikaja, providing quick erection of posted lines to the forward command point of the 128th Rifle Division under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
23-07-1944 in the region of the village of Stanki, showed an example of bravery and courage managing to lay cable-post lines 8 Kilometres across through a barrage of enemy mortar fire, providing in battle the management of the troops and uninterrupted communication from the command point of the division.
