Fake Badge "Participant In Victory Parade".
First time I see this badge. Could I get an opinion please? Thanks. The nut doesn't look like it belongs to this badge.

The badge I have has two prongs on the back, similar to the prongs on a hat badge only wider. I have been told that the badge was actually issued in 1946 and some question remains as to why.

Is yours a screwback as well? If so, how does your nut compare with this one?
And welcome to the forum Tom :)

Participant of the vixtory parade
Hello gents,
I am not sure! but I think the original badge had two prongs. Look at the lower part of the badge (post 1), you can see some remaining solder. Maybe there was the original prong fixed. Looks like the prongs are not very robust, maybe thats the reason why they fixed a screwback. regards Andreas Last edited by Alfred; 07-30-2005 at 12:13 AM. |

That would explain why the two prongs are missing. Thanks
