And single piece bronze version of the 10th Anniversary of the OGPU badge from 1927. This example appears to have replaced enamel.

Finally getting around to putting some of these up!

This is a 10 Anniversary OGPU Badge, Type 3. There are still hints of the red paint in the recesses of the badge, but it's otherwise completely gone. As is evident, the OGPU banner was snapped off at some point and was then repaired later on. The screwback is not original to the badge, but likely period.

Not a textbook example, but still one of my favorites. Couldn't pass it up!
