Papaha prices?

Hi guys.
Another question.

How much do papaha winter hats usually sell for?

I am looking at a Soviet militia papaha and I was wondering if 180 bucks is too much? :)

As I collect militia items I am ecstatic about it, both because it could be a valuable piece in my collection and I could even wear it during the winter on occasion! :D

Thanks guys.

Lonny.

Re: Papaha prices?

I have an army one that I can sell at that price, if interested, however I also have a militia generals papahka that I can sell at 275 USD.

:thumbsup

Re: Papaha prices?

That's a lotta Loonies! There's a variation on the spelling of that name* (that I can't think of at the moment) that I've used to search for those exact hats. I love 'em!! If I lived somewhere cold I'd have one of those and a Budnikova (sp) as well....and I'd wear 'em proudly!

*Papakha or papakhi or kubanka after an internet search.

Tretov's (Militia General) is better, always go with the nicer one.

It is "papakha" - had no other name and spelling. Russian "papakha" came from turkish "papakh" - cap.
"Kubanka" is different type you can see on Victory Parade photo.
