Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

Serving as a combat vehicle repair platoon leader in the 20th Independent Repair and Recovery Battalion, comrade Belous showed himself a disciplined commander. During his service in the battalion, comrade Belous was sent to forward positions near Marino, Pristennoye, and Bolshiye Seti with orders to recover combat vehicles, where he displayed bravery, calmness and fortitude. This enabled the vehicles to be put back into service in a timely manner. Between September 25, 1941 and January 20, 1942 comrade Belous repaired 7 T-34s, 5 BT tanks, 2 T-26s, as well as 12 GAZ-AAs, 10 ZIS-5s, and 3 light vehicles. The repairs were carried out in exceptionally difficult conditions. For example, repairs were carried out under the open sky and in field conditions, but regardless of the harsh circumstances, comrade Belous recovered a number of combat vehicles near Pristennoye and repaired combat vehicles while directly subjected to enemy actions. Despite the difficult situation comrade Belous reported that he would repair these tanks on the spot, which he then accomplished in a timely manner. Moreover, he taught his men about the workings of the combat vehicles.

No difficulties can withhold comrade Belous from repairing combat vehicles.
