Well....

that means that the LOWEST number that PMD had observed for that variation was 107...

eh?

Redstar,

I think what McDaniel meant is that he saw only one order of Type 1 Var 1. And that only one order had serial number 107.

If he would see your order, he would write something like this:

"the only two serial numbers observed were 107 and 143".

It's a STUNNER!!!

RedStar: Keep in mind the year the book was written! and the year when this was certified! I'm 110% sure the certificate was issued after the book!

Rusty.

Redstar,

Rusty is 100% correct.

The book was published in 1997 and the material for the book was gathered even earlier, meaning that as of 1996-1997 McDaniel observed only one speciment of Type 1 Var 1.

I bet your certificate is dated after 1997. Don't worry, the award is perfectly legit!

Best,

William

BTW, I've seen pics of var 1 Type 1 Khmelnitsky order with serial number 80 - another one not mentioned in McDaniel book.

The COA was prepared on January 30th, 2000.
Back than, Bogdan scored 9.5 out of 10

I personally love it.
Now I am thinking of the best way to display it.

Agree

Agree with previous posts...don't sweat the numbers. I recently purchased serial #57 of the same class/variation (Paul saw it the same day I purchased it, even though I didn't get certificate) Dan
