Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

He has been serving at the front during the Patriotic War since September 1941 and took part in the fighting with the German invaders in the village of Shishovka in the Donbass, near “Goryachy Klyuch” on the Kuban and in the city of Krasnodar. During these battles comrade Bondar sustained three wounds.

Serving in the defense of the Kerch Peninsula from February 22 to March 26, he organized his platoon’s defenses well. His platoon’s men killed 7 German soldiers, and comrade Bondar himself used a light machine gun to suppress one enemy firing position.

He deserves the Order of the Red Star.
