I was browsing trough hundreds of pins at home and found this one interesting.
Does it have something to do with the missile defence maybe?
Not very high quality but it has a nice screwback.

It is a Bulgarian pin.

Marc is correct about the origin (the lion is the easy signifier). I do believe you are correct about the badge being for a missle defense system operator. They design pretty much says it all.

If the lion on the back did not identify it as Bulgarian; the Bulgarian flag colours (white, green, red) are present in the front as well.
