Yugoslav Army Cockade.

What's this badge?
I was told it's a Yugoslavian army cap badge, but:
1.It attached by the screw
2.Only Yugoslavian caps I have are side caps (from 1974 to 1991) and they all have embrioded stars

But I have found somewhere, that this badges were for all caps except visor caps. So when were this replaced by cloth stars on side caps?
And another question: How common are "guards" badges (same as above but with hammer and sickle)?

There were winter caps whit stiched stars and summer caps whit metal stars.But here and ther soldiers put metal stars on winter caps.Not regulations but happened.
Stars whit hamer and sickle were for proleterian brigades and guards units,but they are not so rare.
As I said these stars are not uncommon and you can find them in a price range 2,50-5,00 Euros.

OK,
I have as many as five side caps. One of them is definately a winter variation (heavy material, same as winter uniforms, but others are made of lighter material and seem to be summer caps. And all of those have stitched stars (theres only difference in quality and the way stars are made)...

Look I can not tell you nothing 100% about summer caps whit stiched stars, because I newer seen any whit stiched stars.But if you have photo of those caps please make photo and I will try to help you.

Can anyone identify this? Also, seems that something hung from this since there are holes on each side of the piece.

I think it's a homemade badge. Might be Dembil.

if I remember right it is a officer cap badge from Yugoslavia. It is not soviet.
