During the fighting surrounding the crossing of the Oder River and the expansion of the bridgehead on the western bank, he displayed exceptional bravery and heroism while carrying out combat missions aimed at destroying enemy firing positions and manpower. His platoon was active among the ranks of the infantry, firing solely on direct lay. Near the town of Steine, where the enemy undertook vicious counterattacks, he and his platoon moved forward and from open firing positions at a distance of 300 meters opened fire at the enemy infantry, destroying 4 firing positions and killing up to 10 Hitlerites, which allowed for our infantry to push forward. On January 28, 1945, on the approaches to the city of Olau, the enemy, who had garrisoned inside the houses, was firing continuously with machine guns. Having moved his gun forward, comrade Kokhan, who personally looked through the gun sight, opened fire at the houses and suppressed all enemy firing positions, killing up to 40 Hitlerites. Afterward our infantry burst into the city and by the end of the day had fully seized the city. The assigned mission was accomplished.

No Idea what was the German name, but in the Middle-Ages it was known as "Kamena" - an archaic form of "Stones". That one is just a gues though.
The only "Steine" that comes tomy mind is a Creek in Poland and Czech Republic - currently known as "Ścinawka" in Polish or "Ste'navka" in Czech, but probably a lot of villages could have had the name.

OK, I was almost certainly right. This site: Historia
Indicates that the German nameof Kamieniec Wrocławski was "Steinau" untill the end of eighteenth century and "Steine" from the beggining of the nineteenth until 1945. There may be a different "Steine" on Oder, but unlikely to be close to different "Olau" or "Ohlau".
