The uniform looks a little similar to the mundir tunic. Really nice!

I wish there was a way of knowing the "rank" indicated by collar embroidery. I have such a tunic (from a lower ranked/awarded miner). The buttons are actually just sewn on in a line in the front. The tunic actually closes entirely with hidden hooks on the side. Pictures of these in use is really rare. Thanks for posting it!

Lady looks pretty tough, too. Probably wouldn't want to arm wrestle her at any age.

Not necessarily. A similar moustache did little to inhibit HSU I. I. Fedyuninskiy's rise to Army General.
