Eric,
I am not 100% sure, but I believe this badge is genuine. I have seen couple of them with considerable wear. Unlike "Honored Inventor" title this one was given for just one invention, and I am not surprised that they would make the badge of cheap aluminum. Alexei |

Tal,
Thanks, I've never seen any one wear it. BTW, the medal on his lapel is is the Russian Order of Friendship. I bet it's also genuine :) Alexei |

Inventors Badge
Here is the reverse of the Alluminium Inventors Badge in post #1 from Eric.
In the description it says that it is an Inventors badge for the aircraft works in the town of Nowosibirsk Sibirien. Interseting is the number 5 and the mark below the pin attachment. Eddie.

Eddie,
Since my last post in this thread I've done some research about this medal, and it's a standard issue Inventor Badge. It doesn't have anything to do with Novosibirsk or Siberia :) Alexei |

Alexei,
I think the seller of the Badge just added that out of interest. :) Or maybe he/she aquired it from a worker at the plant and thought they were only issued there. Eddie.

Re: Inventor CCCR BADGE
This week in Moscow I saw two of these inventor badges in wear. Unfortunately, I couldn't grab pictures. But it was quite fascinating to see. It's a very visible badge; the gold point is quite distinct.

Whereas the last example was numbered "4", this example is numbered "1".
