Books on Romanian medals

I'm about to buy my first Romainian medal. Anyone care to recommended a good reference book? Preferably in English. Thanks.

If you're interested only in awards from the communist period, there are only three books with information about them:
1. K. G. Klietmann: Phaleristik Rumänien [Romanian Phaleristics] Berlin 1975 (ISBN 3 87778 4003) - in German and English
2. S. Catone, N. Şerbănescu, D. Bedivan: România - Decoraţii 1859-1991 [Romania - Decorations 1859-1991] Bucharest 1992 - only in Romanian
3. Schmitt, Rainer - "The Awards of the People's Republic and of the Socialist Republic of Romania 1948 until 1989" - in German

Nice info, btw good luck with the creation of a new collectors association. I hope there is enough interest to get the new Society up and running. :)

What collectors Society? I have one Romanian award..The Order of Labor, 3rd Class cased minus ribbon bar.

I checked the forum link in dragos post, himself and a few of his Romanian collector friends are thinking of starting a new Romanian collectors association

Thanks Taz, you are well-informed as always. We hope the new association will be legally registered in about one month.

I also hope to expand the awards section on www.worldwar2.ro to cover all Romanian awards, from all periods. This should compensate for the lack of good information about Romanian ODM in English. The new association will also have a website with useful information.
