Help needed to decipher a mint-mark and signature

I have a "plastmast" bust of Lenin for which I would need some help to decipher the mint-mark as well as the sculptor signature.

I attached a photo, if you could help.

Thanks.

I think the sculptor is named "P. Yatsino" What about the factory 'SPK'?

Hi Matteti,
It's a tough call (i.e. I ain't got a clue ), your interpretation of the maker's name seems right, It's the mintmark that is causing problems. If you would like a 'sinister' version of things, try this. Enter фабрика скп in a search engine and you are going to end up with references to СКП which apparently stands for Sojuz Communisticheskih Partij (Union of Communist Parties) of which I never heard before. If that's important to you I am happy to keep on digging/surfing.
Sergei
PS Forgot this: what do you think the logo represents? I thought it was like a sunflower head in which case it would have to come from Ukraine or perhaps Kazakhstan. Any idea?

I've got a booklet listing various trademarks. I'll look in there, I'm pretty sure I've seen this one listed.

Off the almost 300 attributed trademarks, yours wasn't among them. Sorry.

Thanks Sergei and Paul for your efforts.
As with all items in my small collection, I am interested to learn as much as possible about it.

I bought this item from a guy in Moldova which passed it to me in Kiev last summer. It is 39cm high and even though it is made of plastmast, it is of pretty good quality. The depictions of Lenin reminds me the ones we see on the smaller bronze busts, excepted that Lenin is looking in opposite direction.

In front of the pedestal, it has a small engraved text which says: "<i>To Beltsy Medical College on its 25th anniversary from the republican hospital, 19 December 1970</i>".

Beltsy was one of the most important city in Moldova during Soviet time. I am not sure about the age of the bust, but because of the text in front I would say it was made sometime in the 1960s.

I don't know about the logo of the factory... I never noticed it looked like a sunflower. To me, it looked like a profile view of an alien head with big eyes and long neck looking to the left. But you are right Sergei, it looks like a sunflower.

It is just for my own pleasure and by curiosity, but if you have some time to 'waste' and don't mind doing some research, I would be happy to be able to identify the factory.

Here are more pics.
Thanks!

According to the inscription, it was made not long before 1970. I have to admit, I've never seen a Lenin's bust made out of anything but gypsum of metal and shaded either white or silver or bronze. It's a nice item to have in a collection, especially when it has a bit of provenance. And it's a very serious looking Lenin you've got!
If it was a local manufacturer, I don't think we stand much chance (because it was well before the internet) but I'll try.
