Hungarian Award Banners.
Recently came by two award banners- both made of satin with "old school" embroidery. Heavy and large (21+ inches by 15+ inches) and very well cared for. This first one is for an "Excellent Battalion" and is military issue (note the wolf's tooth pattern).

This next banner is from the Munkasor (militia formed to protect the nation's means of production after 1957). It is for the "Best Section of the Battalion".
Here's a close-up of the Munkasor emblem... old school embroidery at it's finest.
