Original Medal "For The Liberation Of Belgrade"?

Hi,

i'm looking for a original ww2 period Liberation of Belgrade medal.
Found this one and i would like some help about its originality.
The ring attached is a little bit of the center. Is that common?
Any concearn about its originality?
If yes, let me know. It will be apreciated.

Not good. The suspension ring is wrong. Also compare reverse, horizontal line of "2" with image on mondvor site.

There are three types of suspension rings listed on mondvor. The examples you show lack the crisp detail of an original specimen, worn examples notwithstanding.

Re: Fake "Liberation of" Campaign Medals

We're always learning from one another as well.

The problem with the fakes that were produced at the height of the market is that not only were they pretty good, they've also got 10 or so years of natural age to them too now.

A fake fresh off of the production line is usually far easier to spot than an identical one that has been knocking around for a decade or so. A bad fake will always be a bad fake, no matter the date. A good fake will only seem more convincing as it has the natural ageing added. It's a constant learning experience.
