Navy graduation badge - fake, fantasy or OK?

I need your assistance on this one, is it OK or not? It looks rather ugly, the big blob in the middle is supposed to be a large warship and a submarine... :)

Hi,

it looks ugly. I think in the lower part of the badge is something missing.
Maybe damaged enamel or rest of glue to fix a little plate.

Oh crap... Just for the fun, I can post some better pics of mine when I get back to my apt. in Sweden... Stupid enough, I bought the appearently broken one (as someone suggested, the enamel was broken and there has been a plate there)...

The academy badges are posted as genuine academy badges on a certain new jersey company that is highly respected. They also have a e-bay account. Of course there could be reproductions of the genuine badge floating around also, as the quality of the badges pictured here are poor compared to the badges that are on there sight. thanks gang

Some fantasy badges are produced to high standards. But that still does not make then genuine :cool:

O.k. i ordered on of these badges to have that hands on look. Gentlemen i stand corrected the badge i received was no more genuine than a unicorn, so my apologies to all for making a hasty judgment call.
