Here is the Badge "S.F.I.R. Bulgarian Army 1st Battallion Iraq Karbala 2004" dating from either late 2004 or early 2005, predating almost all of modern Bulgaria's campaign awards.

The 1st Battalion of the 68th Brigade of Special Forces served in Karbala as part of Security Forces Iraq (or the Multi National Force) during the worst period in the city's modern history.

During the entire Iraq campaign Bulgaria sent a total of 485 service personnel into the operational zone of which 13 were KIA. Not all of their forces participated in Karbala which would suggest that this is an obscure "Special Forces" Award Badge.

A simple fastening device on the back of this resin coated Badge which is par for most contemporary Bulgarian Badges.
