Badge "Champion Of The Socialist Competition 1978".
Here's my new one, just in from Onkle Pavlo. It's a 1978 Socialist Competition winner's badge document. I know these aren't considered particularly sexy but is a Sovier award doc and as such I feel a strong compulsion to aquire and hoard! :p
Also, it's awarded to a Georgian presumably by the Georgian SSR authorities for some good hard work and relatively clean living. I just can't get over the Georgian alphabet...I thought Cyrillic was tough to decode.:D I had to briefly interupt the boy's nap to get a shot in a well-lighted spot.:cool:
