What Soviet Uniforms are still in use?

I was recently watching a DVd on the history of the Russian Navy and I saw that the uniforms of the Russian Navy, right up to the rank of Fleet Admiral, are virtually the same as were worn in the period of the Soviet Union.

Has anyone made an attempt to determine what branches of the military, or which civil organizations (Railways; Postal; Forestry Service, for example), have continued to use the Soviet-era uniforms with minor changes in insignia?

My interest here is in attempting to help other collectors (and myself!) avoid purchasing a "Soviet" uniform of some type that might very well be a current uniform that has simply had older Soviet insignia added to it.

Re: What Soviet Uniforms are still in use?

In the navy they have changed the shoulderboards for officers to 6-sided. Also the officers have eagle on their cap badges, but other than that - they remain the same.
Soviet EM belts are still in use in Russia.
Ukrainians wear field uniforms in "Dubok" camouflage, which is the same as the green variant of Soviet airborne camo from 80's and until recently, the uniforms had the same cut (in late 90's they have removed the pockets from trousers, and lately they did some changes).
Belorussian Border Troops still use "berezka" camo clothing (commonly called "spetsodezhda") in the same cut as soviet, but the material is different (tough the early issues were exactly the same).
Easy way to determine if field unif is Soviet or later is to check the inside pockets - Soviet ones should have them on both sides, while later issues have only one inside pocket on the left.
Railway workers commonly wear uniforms almost identical to Soviet, but with different insignia.
Untill recently, aeroflot used the Soviet era symbol - wings with h&s, but they have probably canged that.
Russian Militia/Police wear caps in exactly the same colour scheme as in soviet era, but larger and with different insignia. Parade cap for Russian Army (and Belorussian as well) looks very similar to Soviet m69 field cap for generals - even the inside an the visor are the same. Only difference is that band is made of a different kind of material than the rest of the cap (kind of felt), while soviet generals had their field caps made entirely of the same material.
Reservists in all the former SU continue to wear Soviet field uniforms - Afganka, VSR, VDV/Marine camo...
All around the former SU they use m88 "panama" hat for warm climates. Ukrainian one can be taken for Soviet because of the camouflage.
Suvorov cadets wear almost the same uniforms (at least coats)
Soldiers of all countries wear old soviet uniforms as work clothes.
The list is long....
