Hi guys, a seller is offering here in Brazil this hat...
Soviet Young Pioneer Pilotka
Is this real or just a fake ?
The price is 5 US$
Should I buy ?

Again, the hat is original, but the cap star is added, as well as the yellow outline.

Just red without any badges and from upper front corner should hang tassel(?) or whatever it may be called it english. This supposed to resemble Spanish civil war caps, not in color, but in design. I was wearing one of those for few years in early seventies.

Didn't General Franco's troops wear these type of caps with the tassle. Certainly airmen from the Condor Legion wore them.

There were hundreds of variations of those pilotkas. It would seem that many summer camps for kids had their own variations. Mine was blue with a yellow tassel hanging from the peak, and an EM red star. Still have it somewhere :)
