Hello
Hello Eric and welcome to the forum!
I am sure, as have I, that you will find this an extremely helpful and informative means of finding out information on Soviet collectables and related items. Are you a collector? Again, welcome Alanirvine |

Hello and thanks for wellcome.
Yes I am a collector, but very new (since November 2002). I am in the process of learning and find it fun and very difficult. It takes time. Thank you again and nice to meet you. Eric. |

I collect Soviet Orders and Medals. I am not in different Variations and Types (yet). Today my main goal is to buy all Orders and Medals. I cannot buy very expensive at this time, so I am planning to buy copies (fakes) to fill up the holes. Later, if I can, I will buy real medals/orders. Also I started looking in some interesting Labor badges of USSR.
Again, I am very new in this exiting hobby. I am learning, exploring, making mistakes and decisions. I hope talking to people, sharing information and knowledge will help me a lot. Till today I was very isolated, getting a lot of help from several people. Now I feel much better and very exited to become a part of the Forum Thanks to everybody. Arkady. |

Eric,
My only advice is for you to purchase the "Bible" Paul McDaniel and Paul Schmitt's book: The comprehensive guide to orders & medals . Here's a Link where's this book is discussed. Rusty
