I have no clue about this little ship badges and many of my friends too. So I started this thread to bring a little light into the dark.

Here is my submariner ... nice enamel star. Not sure if the screwplate is original to the badge.

I also have another odd fish... unofficial, home-made ... I don't know what ship (class) it is - but it is made from two pieces which gives it a very nice appearance.

I like your submariner badge, I have the nearly same badge with the same screwplate. So the screwplate is most likely original to the badge.

Andreas if the screw looks like an everyday one it's a copy, see the pic. Mondvor never used them
