The prize for the person who gets it right is a steak dinner and as many beers as they can drink in Johannesburg.
Kind regards Munroe |

Some suggestions
Difficult to identify all these orders and medals from these pictures. I have some suggestions:
First box: GDR - Order of Merit for Country 2nd class Mongolia - Order of the Combatant Merit (Order: 1, 2 / 3, 4 / 5, 6): Mongolia - 30th anniversary of the Victory at Chalkin Gol Mongolia - 30th anniversary of the defeat of militant Japan Mongolia - 50th anniversary of the republic Mongolia - 50th anniversary of the Mongol Peoples Army Mongolia - 60th anniversary of the Mongol Peoples Army ? Mongolia - 40th anniversary of the Victory at Chalkin Gol ? The last two looks like they have switched "ribbons". Second box: First row: Poland - Cross of valor Poland - Order of Polonia Restituta Bulgaria - Order of 9th september ? - need a closer scan ? - need a closer scan Second row: ? - need a closer scan Cuba - 20th anniversary of the armed forces "Granma medal". Hugary - need another book! China - Sino-Soviet Friendship CSSR - War Cross 1939-1945 ? - need a closer scan ? - need a closer scan I have of course no idea who won these medals.

Munroe,
I didn't know. I just figure out it was Dragunsky. If you got this group, it means cavaler is jewish. How many among them were twise HSU? Firts name crossed my mind was Dragunsky. Then I've cheked HSU book for Dragunsky's awards. The whole process took about 2 minutes. Eugene Dragunsky D. A. |

Yes,
Well done Eugene, but we still have to work out all the awards. Believe me there are a few that I don't know what they are. I also have some award booklets for KGB stuff where I do not have the awards. I will post any close up pictures that anyone requests. Also teh award book if I have it. Help me identify all the foreign awards. I could appreciate some help on some of the awards. There are 4 that I have no idea what they are. regards from a warm and sunny place |

More scans
I have tried and think I'm right about a few.
But I need some more scans of a few of them...see my earlier posting. The second box: the last two in the first row, then the first and last two in the second row. In the fourth box I need larger scans of the three medals on the last row. (I guess they are russian). BTW, I would love a steak dinner in RSA - as I would love a steak dinner everywhere in the world.
