Ribbons for Flags

Hi

Recently I aquired ribbons which were confered upon flags and banners of soviet military units. Here is a ribbon representing the order of Suvorov, 2nd classe:

Such ribbons were not just awarded to military units. Many civil/state orgs were awarded medals and orders and thus were awarded the corresponding ribbons for their organizational flag. The most obvious type of organization that was awarded such orders are newspapers--check out the front page of any Izvestia, Pravda or former UR papers...
