Cadre of the Red Army From the first days of the Patriotic War against German Fascism Comrade Lemeshkin has worked in the position of aviation motorist of the forward aerodrome for the servicing of aeroplanes: I-153, I-16, MIG-3. For his time servicing those planes have made 150 flights without a single failure to work. He gives all his force and knowledge to quickly restoring and preparing the aeroplanes for combat sorties. Working day and night with no consideration for the time of day. The materiel is studied to perfection and he skilfully exploits it. From working as an aviation motorist he copes excellently with assigned work performing quickly and with quality. Together with a brigade restored 5 aeroplanes. In work resourceful and initiative. Energetic, demanding of himself, disciplined and executive. Politically and morally sound. In captivity or surrounded by the enemy not been. At the present time positioned with units at the front. To the affairs of the party of Lenin-Stalin and Socialist Homeland loyal. For selfless work in preparing materiel for combat sorties and restoring together with a brigade 5 aeroplanes is worthy of the Governmental award Medal "For Combat Merits". Since the award for the period from 10th April 1943 to 20th March 1945 working as an aviation technician for the preparation of materiel of the Aeroplanes Airocobra for combat sorties servicing 257 successful combat sorties without a breakdown or accident by his fault, of those 40 successful combat sorties serviced for the period of the successful offensive of our troops in the January-February operations of the 1st Ukrainian Front. For this time in field conditions at the forward aerodrome restored 9 damaged in aerial combat aeroplanes Airocobra and replaced 5 engines with excellent quality repairs and ahead of specified time. In exploitation of the materiel of aeroplanes Airocobra knowledge excellent. His accumulated experience for preparing materiel of aeroplanes for combat sorties he skilfully conveys to his subordinates. For the time of his work for preparing materiel of aeroplanes for combat sorties there was not a single case of failure or return of an aeroplane from task from his fault. In servicing of aeroplanes for combat sorties he always is in excellent ability and in full combat preparedness. Conclusion: For excellent preparation of the materiel of aeroplanes for combat sorties, servicing 257 successful combat sorties quick and quality restoration of materiel of aeroplanes - worthy of award the Order Of The Red Star. Commander 16th Guards Interceptor Aviation Sandomierz Regiment Hero Of The Soviet Union Guards Major Fedorov 21st March 1945 Award the Order Of The Red Star.
