This kinda fits here...The Stalin Iron Works (now Danube Iron Works) in Dunapentele was built between 1950-54. The Minister of Smelter and Machine Industry founded the medal in 1951 to award those who distinguished themselves in the construction works. The 1st class (silver) could be awarded after 2 years of work and the 2nd class (bronze) after 1 year. The hanger reads Metallurgy Minister.

A Rakosi era Excellent Member of the Cooperative badge. Very nicely made and heavy. The back is standard pin, flat and unmarked so I chose not to show that aspect.

The Presidential Star of the National Council of Trade Unions with ribbon bar. While the medal itself is readily available, the ribbon bar with miniature is somewhat difficult to find.

I was beginning to wonder what happened to you, Greg.
 Even though you can spot quite a few of the ribbon bars with the miniatures for other awards, it is surprising that so many for any Hungarian awards didn't get lost because of the tiny size and the governmental changes, etc.. Phillip
