Victory over Germany Medal Edict dated 9.5.45

Verified by Merenitskii Regional Military Commissariat Lieutenant Colonel Fomenko dated 2 June 1956

An award card dated 5 April 1955 captures the same information as above, yet mentions an Order Booklet (?) 457449 and adds a Bravery Medal #3.588.372 awarded by the 465 Rifle Regiment on 30.10.44 and an unnumbered Glory III awarded by the 167 Rifle Division on 3.12.44.

An award card dated 18 March 1946 lists his assignment in the 4 Ukrainian Front, 60 Army, 9 Independent Battalion and was subsequently overwritten in 1956 to reflect the awarding of an Order of Glory II Class by an Edict of the Supreme Soviet dated 31.3.56 for an Order of Glory III Class awarded by the 60 Army.

An undated, abbreviated award card verifies the awarding of a Glory III Class by the 60 Army dated 20.05.45 was annulled and substituted for an Order of Glory II Class by Edict of the Supreme Soviet dated 31.3.56.

Another abbreviated award card dated 4 April 1956 verifies the information stated immediately above.
