Marshal SU Moskalenko

What can I say - this is the BEST and the most expensive Soviet group I've seen for sale - awarded to Marshal of SU Moskalenko!

It can't get better than this! I wish I had $$$ to buy it...

Seller's description:

"EXTRAORDINARY and IMMENSE Group to Marshal of the Soviet Union Kirill Moskalenko. Includes 6 of his Soviet military orders and 9 decorations of other Communist Bloc countries. Represented among the Soviet awards are the most important military decorations of the USSR: an Order of Suvorov, 1st cl., two Orders of Kutuzov, 1st cl., and two Orders of Lenin. Collection of documents comprises 16 ID cards, 29 personalized greetings, 36 award documents and 31 photos and photo illustrations from his personal archive. Included are also several high quality personalized presentation articles from Marshal Moskalenko's estate.
To our knowledge, this is the most historically significant grouping offered for sale on the open market.

Six Soviet Orders:
Order of Suvorov, 1st cl., #345, May 1945 issue;
Order of Kutuzov, 1st cl., #214, May 1944;
Order of Kutuzov, 1st cl. #322, August 1944;
Order of Lenin, #46050, June 1945;
Order of Lenin, #395024, 1982;
Order of the Patriotic War, 1st cl., 1985 issue.

All Soviet orders are in excellent condition. Order of Suvorov 1st cl. and both Orders of Kutuzov 1st cl. come with certificate of authenticity by Paul McDaniel, author of "The Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders and Medals". Condition rating on all three is very high: 8 out of 10.

Nine Awards of Foreign Communist Bloc Countries: Polish Order of Polonia Restituta (Order of Revival of Poland), 2nd cl. commander's neck badge and breast star with neck ribbon and original issue case; Czechoslovakian Medal for the Battle of Dukla Pass, Czechoslovakian War Cross of 1939-1945; Republic of Cuba Medal for 20th Anniversary of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, 1976 (aka "Granma Medal"); East German (DDR) Medal for Combat Cooperation; Bulgarian Medal for 30th Anniversary of Victory over Germany; Medal Commemorating 1300th Anniversary of Bulgaria; Bulgarian Georgiy Dimitrov Centenary Medal. Condition of foreign decorations ranges from very fine to excellent.

Six Badges and Pins: Badge for 50 Years of Membership in the Communist Party, with original issue case; Yuri Gagarin Commemorative Medal, with original issue case, cracked cover of the case, the medal is in excellent condition; Participant's Badge of the 25th Conference of Moscow City Organization of the Communist Party; Honorary Badge (Medal) of the Soviet War Veterans Committee; Badge for 25th Anniversary of Victory over Germany, "VIP" variation in brass; Polish Honorary Badge of First Tadeusz Kosciuszko Warsaw Infantry Division (shows portrait of General Kosciusko with writing "1 WDP" at the top and "Lenino – Berlin" around the center, dates "1943 – 1945" at the bottom; the badge was established in 1946 and issued thereafter, mostly to Soviet and Polish veterans of the division).

Seven Photo ID Cards of Elite Party Organizations: Photo ID of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), 1961 issue, hand-signed by Soviet premier Nikita Khruschev;
Photo ID of the Central Committee of CPSU, 1966 issue, hand-signed by Leonid Brezhnev;
Photo ID of Moscow City Committee (MGK) of VKP(b) [the old Cyrillic abbreviation of the Communist Party, before it was changed to "KPSS" or CPSU], 1949 issue;
Photo ID of Moscow City Committee (MGK) of VKP(b), 1951 issue;
Photo ID of Moscow Regional Committee of CPSU, 1956 issue;
Photo ID of Moscow Regional Committee of CPSU, 1960 issue;
Photo ID of Scherbakov District Committee of VKP(b), 1948 issue.

Nine Various ID Cards: Photo ID of a Participant of the Great Patriotic War, 1980 issue. Hard covered green booklet, of much nicer quality than vast majority of other documents of this type. Hand-signed by Marshal Ogarkov, Chief of Staff of the Soviet Armed Forces, and bears his personal stamps;
temporary War Veteran's ID, 1979 issue - mentions that Moskalenko's position is Deputy Inspector General of the Soviet Armed Forces.
photo ID pass allowing free use of public transportation in Moscow, 1951 issue;
photo ID pass allowing free public transportation anywhere in the USSR, issued by the General Inspection of the Armed Forces, late 1970s;
ID card of an Honor Citizen of the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk Region), 1972 issue;
three free airline / railway / waterway transportation coupon books (special allowance to Heroes of the Soviet Union), early 1970s through 1980s;
voting mandate of the 18th Moscow Communist Party Organization."
