Zeros

Why the new tendency to append zeros to the beginning of low serial numbers?

In my opinion, besides not being accurate, it adds a lot of clutter.

Re: Zeros

Click "thread name" option and chose the award you want from lowest to highest serial number. follow the evolution of awards and their purposes. The forum software is not advanced enough to know 150 is higher than 20 but 150 is higher than 020.

Work for you now?

Interesting. I like that a lot, now that I know what it's about. Thanks for the explanation, and sorry to have been so negative.

I do still find it hard to read though.

Re: Zeros

There is transition at the moment.

Only so much came be done in such limited time.

I hope (and predict) that the forum will be completely renovated in 12 months as long as the tantrums are minimal. The original time-scale was 12 months but people (or persons) do like a good tantrum which does retard progress unfortunately.

I hope the majority have enjoyed and understood the gargantuan reform that has been set into motion. The forum has had more posts more visits and more simultaneous users during the last 12 month period than ever before.

On top of reforming 10+ years of backlog new ground is constantly being broken. There is a vast amount of new information that can only be found on this forum in English or ANY language. This will continue into the foreseeable and unforeseeable future.

Re: Zeros

I'm from Yorkshire and we NEVER go out of our way to fix the unbroken.

Unfortunately.

Let us march forward to the banner of soviet awards forum.

Rather Yorkshire folk.
