Hello all, New at this. I would like some information about this badge.
Also if anyone can help me find more information about the individual it was awarded to would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Bill,

Lovely badge if real - there are a lot of fakes out there!

To me the name looks like: V. Lashin' (В. Лашинь) but not sure aout the ending though.

Welcome. The badge commemorates when an imperial tsarist regiment rebelled and threw in its lot with the Communists in a Battleship Aurora-type situation.

If memory serves me correctly, it occurred earlier than the actual revolution and was cracked down on pretty harshly.

I'm sure if you search Wikipedia or enter Volhyn Regiment in a search engine you should be able to come up with more info.
