USSR flag original?

I bought this today for 50 dollars. I was told it was a late era USSR flag. It is sewn double sided for the sickle and hammer. Made of some type of linen maybe? Any thoughts to being original and value? I have not seen any repros made like this but I have not handled many either.

What are the dimensions?

Usually the date and factory are along the edge which would be closest to the flagpole.

A 1 metre long flag of this quality is fair enough for $50 but they are, were and forever will be common.
