Badge "Excellent Torpedoer".
Hello..Please can anyone tell me if the "Excellent torpedoman" badge was only issued to submariners or was it also issued to crew members of surface vessels that were capable of launcing torpedoes. Also, was it entirely possible to hold both "Excellent Submariner" and "Excellent Torpedo" badge and finally, where on the uniform were they worn if they were both able to be worn together? The badge was issued to crew members (torpedo men) of any type of ships.
I think it possible but I've never seen man hold both "Excellent Submariner" and "Excellent Torpedo" badges. There is the photo of man with 5 "Excellent tankman" badges - all on the right side. Last edited by CtahhR; 02-16-2012 at 08:49 PM. |
