Ministry of Automotive Transport Cap

hi folks,

i wanned to share and get to know as much as possible about my new cap.

is was sold to me as a conductor of taxi.

the color combination is the one of ministry of automotive transport.
the crown wing i have seen before on bus drivers cap's and such.
the badge on the band is totally unknown to me.

the cap is a privately made one, properly from the Ukraine or so.
along the inside liner it has the cardboard reinforcement.

it is nicely made with broader than normal pipin.
the buttons are both dated 86.

who can tell me more about this cap.

I've seen pictures of this cap, but they seem to have different cockades, which resemble the aeroflot cap badges. And the band seems to have a different colour as well, it is not black, but rather the same colour as the crown.
Here are two caps I found on the site, "under the red star".
First is a taxi driver cap from the 1970s and a Transport supervisor from the 1980s to 1990s.

i know of the caps on undertheredstar i use that page as my primary source.

the cap is not the thing i know nothing about ,, it is a 1982-1991 type of cap used by the ministry of automotive transport.
There is an example of a gereral grade cap on undertheredstar.

colors differ from time to time with these caps from this ministry.
the most possible thing is that this is a supervisor or higher rank official but not general rank.

i have never seen this kinda badge as is on the band.
i would like to know for sure what that badge tells.

It seems the cap badge has the same logo as the cap device above it, but with a hammer and sickle in the middle; I would assume it is just a variation of cap badges, perhaps transitional?

I have no clue,

The badge it self has the steering wheel in it that is typical for this service.

but so many combinations are known to have a different function from this ministry.

I must say i really loved the cap and especially the badge.
i paid a little over 70 euro for it.
