knife trick that is Soviet?

Hello I would like to know please if you recognize this as the Soviet dagger.
The provenance of the find is in Balvan and has printed the star button.
the invoice object is good and strong and has a nice sheath that appears to bakelite.
I would be very happy if you can help me to identify the knife and if I can say other information.
Thanks
Thanks Enveroxa

hi thank you, I also thought the same thing I am, but I have not found evidence ..
The star button makes me think of a socialist country, the blade is different from the U.S. daggers and then there are other differences such as aluminum parts etc. ...
Can you give me more information?
See you soon and thanks again

Re: knife trick that is Soviet?

I'd think a hand-made item using different parts from different knives (or other things).

Hello and thanks but I rule out this hypothesis, because having the object in the hands it's obvious that it is not a replacement of various parts, the pieces are all part of the same knife to 100%. If I need to post more pictures.

Nope, sorry. I collect military knifes and bayonets, but never saw anything close to this one. Besides US is also using star as a symbol (at list used to ) ;)

I am leaning on the EricFG's theory, it's at list a commercial dagger, not something that been officially supplied for solders.

It does have that straight throwing-knife blade, but the handle it too big (unless it is made of a very light wood which would make it look very impressive at the circus during the act).

I'm more with Eric's line of thinking - pieced together or just a bad assembly job or even lazy design.

Re: knife trick that is Soviet?

Hi to all, not a job and even circus knife assembly is to discard the hypothesis.
Just a little more time I will show you images that clarify things.
The knife is well built overall, I am also a collectors of knives and bayonets.
See you soon.

Re: knife trick that is Soviet?

Hi here are the pictures that should remove the doubt, as you can see the pugnalew is not an assemblage of different parts.
And the bill object seems good, you can also see the material with the handle here is done.
I think it should be post WWII and I think a socialist country, what do you say?
Thanks to early Enveroxa
