Comrade Treputen' 16th January 1945, first in a group of riflemen to cross the river Vistula and bursting in to an enemy trench with his personal weapon giving suppressing fire on their machinegun points, thereby ensuring the crossing of the Vistula by the whole company without personal loss.
While expanding the bridgehead on the left bank, Comrade Treputen' showed exemplary courage and valour and his personal example inspired fighters to combat feats.
For personal valour and military resourcefulness, Comrade Treputen' is worthy of the Governmental Award - Order "Glory III Class".
