"Glorious Mother" Order.
I think this order deserves its own thread. The order was first instituted in 1957.
To kick things off, here's the motherhood 1st class type 1. Recently sold on e. with a serial number #19!

A-33.2 in Dr. Battushig's book. Type 1.2. This was made in the 1970's or 1980's. The idea behind this Order is the same as the Soviet and other Eastern-Bloc countries Mother's Medals except this has only to classes.

Actually, the observed range on that type 1.2 is 52404 to 169768. I'd guess the types changed around 50000, as the highest observed type 1.1 is 49326.
Still being awarded, though they have talked about changing the required kid-count. |

Here is a rather tired Order Booklet (БНМАУ Алдарт Эх Одонгийн Унэмлэх) for 2nd Class #33150 awarded to Talsanbaldan Ad'jas on 27th February 1963.
I may translate the full text of the "Glorious Mother" Order ("Алдарт Эх") guidelines as laid out in the booklet in a while. The Orders were founded on 3rd March 1957 and recipients of the 1st Class Order received 200 Tögrög and 2nd Class Order 100 Tögrög.
