From the first days of the Patriotic War actively participated in the struggle with German-Fascist invaders.
Took participation in battles for Stalingrad, Kiev, Prague-Warsaw, crossing the Oder.
Positioned in the battalion for over three years in the position of assistant commander of the company for technical units every day painstakingly working to save equipment of the company keeping it in constant combat preparedness, using the equipment of the company in battle with maximum potential.
Thanks to the every day concern of Captain Evseenko the equipment of the company was always positioned in exemplary order and combat preparedness.
In the time of battle for the River Oder Captain Evseenko performed the task of ensuring the combat preparedness of the equipment of the battalion, as well as the timely delivery of smoke screen smoke agents, despite that, that the activity had to be done under heavy enemy fire supplying his task was coped with successfully. Breaks in supply of ammunition to the battalion did not occur.
For active participation in combat with German-Fascist invaders, everyday painstaking labour for savings and exemplary maintenance of military equipment, for exemplary service to the homeland for the period of the Patriotic War Captain Evseenko IS WORTHY OF THE GOVERNMENTAL AWARD ORDER "RED STAR".
