Long Range Aviation Veteran (Авиация дальнего действия). Someone really "went the distance" ;) on replacing the pin attachment!

This sort of "overkill" replacement safety pin is a rather common sight on Bulgarian awards of c1950-60 as their kolodka manufacture wasn't quite up to par. They can often also be found as a replacement on later DPRK Badges, where they are the most solid part.
