Re: How to know voenkomat medal production year
Yes. Just look at the different types of rings in the pic. But those are not voenkomat medals so it's a different story.

Re: How to know voenkomat medal production year
This would mean that there are more than the usual 2 "Veteran Of Labour". I'll have to get out a magnifier one day and see what I find....

Re: Voenkomat Medal Variations.
Good idea ! ;)
If you`ve got the idea to collect every variation of the campaign medals, etc. you`ve got a lot of work to do indeed... but otherwise - why not !? Most higher orders of the former Soviet Union are that expensive today - for most of us it will be impossible now and in future to obtain one :( So why not collecting variations of medals !? Jens |

Re: Voenkomat Medal Variations.
I collect campaign medals. My goals is to get three variations of each campaign medal. I have already collected about 70%. Campaign medals are the best.

Re: Voenkomat Medal Variations.
No. I am primarily interested in medals. Besides, collecting both the documents and medals would be too costly financially. But if you can, why not.
