I know it's not a lot of money for most of the people here. But for me, it's not a question of how much money. It's a question of principle, a question of honnesty.

You might consider "thinking outside the box."

You can be sure that he knows of this forum as there are forum members that deal with him in sales of orders directly. And I have no doubt he has been told of what is being said. That is for sure.

So he has already lost thousands of dollars due to just this one thread. So there has been some justice already.:thumbsup

If you want to see who he is, simply go to Google main page and type the words "soviet coins & medals" exactly as shown here and then click the "I'M FEELING LUCKY!" button. You will not be so lucky, but you will be sent to his website.

I also know that he is aware of this forum because last fall, when I posted about my suspicious regarding the order of Mother Heroine he had sent me, he accused me of black-mailing him using the forum and etc.

At that time, I did nothing more than express my suspicion and asking for opinion. Until I had the order inspected, I could not do more. I never considered this was black-mailing anyway,

But as Nack suggested, I am going to "think out of the box" and see if I can get satisfaction this way.

I have nothing against the fact that other do business with him. It's their own choice and it doesn't concern me. I also don't believe that this seller is always selling fakes, because he would be out of business for a long time already. I am even ready to accept that he might have done a "honest" mistake and sent me a fake item without knowing it. But what I don't accept, is to be accused of having destroyed that item and that he doesn't accept to reimburse me.

Since when posting pictures on a Forum and ask for opinions from experts that know far more than we do is considered "blackmail" ???!!! Non sense!

Well done for him!
If he sells fakes (even if I think, like matteti says, that everything he sells is not a fake) he doesn't deserve our respect!

As for the "spies" telling him what is said on this Forum, it's a good thing after all, so he knows people talk and he might be more careful in the future!
Althought I think he is arrogant and rude by nature and won't change, but anyway, who knows...

Just wanted to say thanks to the many members of the forum who support me in this. :thumbsup

Also, I am sorry to have brought this to the public place and to have distracted all of you from our main interest which is collecting and is supposed to be pleasant. But at same time, I felt I needed to share.

If the seller changes his mind and finally accept to reimburse me, I will be glad to let you know.

Don't be sorry

We need to know these events. That way new collectors won't fall into the same trap. Or at least be well informed.

Sometimes this needs to be dragged into the mud for others to avoid similar problems in the future! After all, we all work for our hard earned money and I for one would hate to loose mine!
