I got it as a bonus to other medals I bought.
Just thought it might be interesting. Same story as with Berlin one, looks like cooper and the digits on the reverse :confused:

Your medal is OK, it just had a tough life. As to the number on it, there is no definite explanation; it is supposed that these correspond to the SN of the award document. Marc |

One credible version is that the numbers were stamped when a veteran gave his medals to be mounted on a multi-medal suspension, so as not to mix up medals between recipients.
