Order Of Yugoslavian People's Army

The award was instituted on January, 1, 1952 in three classes.
awarded to military men and units for merits in construction and strengthening of Armed forces and for the successful command of military units in a peace time.

1st Class (with a laurel wreath)
Material: Silver, gilding, red and green enamel. 536 awards up to December, 31, 1985.
Ribbon: White with a 20 mm red stripe in the center.

2nd Class(with a gold star)
Material: Silver, gilding, white enamel. 9137 awards up to December, 31, 1985.
Ribbon: White with two 9 mm red stripes in the center.

3rd Class (with a silver star)
Material: Silver, gilding. 45384 awards up to December, 31, 1985.
Ribbon: White with three 4 mm red stripes in the center.
