Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

During his stay in the division showed courage, bravery, military valor and skills to fight against the enemies.
Operating on the equipment due to his accurate and fearless work, provided the shooting down of 15 enemy’s planes.
From 17 to 23 April 1944 during the massive air raids of the enemy in the area of Novorossiysk, despite the intense shelling fearlessly and precisely operated with the equipment and provided the shooting down of 5 enemy’s planes.
During fight near Kerch city (Crimea) due to accurate and courageous operating of Pokhvatov 3 enemy’s planes were shoot down.
From 18 to 23 April 1944 in the area Mikenzinski Mountains, Black river and Fediukhinski Heights where his battery was shooting enemy’s aircrafts, protected ground troops.
He was working at his place despite the exploding shells and contributed into shooting down the plane Yu-87.
During firing at ground targets enemy at the Sapun-Gora, replaced the wounded comrade and ensured the destruction of two machine guns and a platoon of the enemy’s soldiers.

Thanks, Tommy, I agree, the documentation of campaign medal documents by the archive is a significant resource and adds greater depth to the historical perspective.
