It all depends on your comfort level. Are you buying to resell or keep in your collection? If you're buying to keep, it is whatever price you feel exchanging your hard-earned money. If you're buying to resell, many collectors won't touch something like this because they can't identify it in a reference and don't know about "homemade" items. You may have a hard time reselling it because someone will scream it's a "fake". Again - whatever you feel like paying for it.

Paul,

I'm more interested in seeing for how much it will sell, rather than buying it for myself. (If doing it, that would just be for keeping it as a "curiosity", if we may say so) :) .
Right now with 4 1/2h to go it's at $14, which is already more than I'd pay for such a... "curiosity"

Thanks again,

Dolf

Paul I would be one of those badge collectors. If I can't find it in any of the dozen or so badges books that I have, or on the net, I would stay away from it.

Re: Naval Dembel Badges.

No idea what this one is...it's captioned "Singing Sails" under the USSR Naval Ensign, and a Soviet block-looking electric guitar. Made out of tin and filled with epoxy or putty on the back, pretty skillfully done. :thumbsup
