uniform grouping,help please
Hi,
New to the forum as i have just obtained this uniform and ID there was a cap to the group but it has got split up i am trying to retrieve it,sorry for the poor photos but if there is any interest i'll try to take some better ones,the jacket is a lot more green in hand,as i no nothing about this type of thing being primary a TR collector please can you tell me something about the uniform was told that it is WW2by the person that sold it to me. thanks Merdock |

what is the color of the stripes on the epaulets? I suspect dark blue but they look black in these photos

Hi,
The stripes are black,engineers, imo the stripes are black ,my wife says very dark blue the 2 photos to follow show different colours the one with flash makes them look a lighter blue the same as the backing colour to the boards are in normal daylight the backing gets lighter, the other photo imo is closer to the truth and they look black.:confused: Last edited by Merdock; 05-03-2010 at 12:37 PM. |

Most likely, this is a post-war set. This model was used up to 1955. It is purported to be NKVD, but I have some rather serious doubts about that; and the ID is definitely fake. Marc |
