What happened to the flags after collapse of soviet union?

Well, this is from a talk with a seller on the bay, he told me that,

"Flags which lay in warehouses for the future war. There were very much large supplies. War has not taken place. The USSR has collapsed. Flags should burn. Certainly documents about destruction sign, and flags take to themselves. But now it is a little present (woollen) flags. It is still connected by that last 15 years from for a financing lack in warehouses did not air them, did not shift, did not resupply, did not process against ask."

How do you think? (I mean is that true?)

I don't understand his reply to your unknown question.

"Flags" is a rather generic term. Are you referring to Soviet military unit standards, factory banners, republic flags, Pioneer banners, trumpet banners, beer advertisements?

Flags are available for various reasons and from various sources - buy what you want.

were talking about military flags (not banners), like the air force flags.

actually I am looking for an airforce flag, I remember seeing one on the bay sometime ago so I dig out the related discussion with the seller (he asked for about 130$ that time, but I think that was expensive so we just had some discussion about flags.) Looks it's hard to get one now.

If you want a better answer, it may be better to provide a picture of what you're trying to describe.

I think you'd be surprised at what is available in terms of Soviet military flags. If you dig around here enough, you might find flags at least similar to what you are looking for. Once you have that, it will be easier to find someone who sells (or can find) what you want.

I would think Tretov or even Doug Drabik can get you what you are looking for. Check with them. Thanks Clete

I have seen air force flags - or possibly VDV - for sale, blue and yellow with some airplane insignia. But it was some time ago; and I am not sure of authenticity.
