Jan Pilipionek, Polish Army In The East.
Here is a group to Jan Pilipionek of the Polish Army In The East (Probably 34th Infantry Regiment of the 8th Infantry Division) spanning 49 years.
Unfortunately beyond the awards nothing more can be extrapolated at the moment. The document for his Medal For Oder, Neisse And Baltic #039768 is extremely worn.

He received his Medal For Oder, Neisse And Baltic a lot earlier than his other awards and it shows. The ribbon was glued to something at some point.

Finally the Medal Of Zhukov awarded by the Russian Federation on 9th May 1994. Does this mean he went "east" to celebrate Victory Day with his old comrades in arms?

The document may have come westward and been awarded by the Russian embassy in France, for example. Since there is no official stamp, a blank document may have also been filled out by anyone and awarded to anyone...

Re: Jan Pilipionek, Polish Army In The East.
My friend's grandfather (6th infantry division veteran) got Russian victory anniversary medal in 2005. He got it at Russian consulate, but the people who were unable to show up in person were asked to send a representative. Ialso heard that some veterans got their Russian awards at their homes, but I don't think it happened too often.
Pilipionek is listed here: Janusz Stankiewicz. Genealogia, przodkowie, badania genealogiczne, forum dyskusyjne as private, bronze "Meritous on the field of glory" awardee: Pilipionek Jan - s. Adolfa - strz. - Brązowy Medal "Zasłużony na Polu Chwały" - - - - Father's name doesn't seem to fit, but The unit seems to be the same like in "Odra, Niesse, Baltic" doc, and the surname is rare enough to assume there was only one Jan Pilipionek in that regiment.
